A very informative and friendly visit from Phil Taylor of Thornbridge Ales. We are grateful for them taking the time to travel from Bakewell to visit us.

Michael at Wetherspoons together with our Chair, Kevin arranged a "Thornbridge takeover" so a range of beers from porters to golden ales were available at very reasonable prices.

Our next in the series of meet the brewer will be Rudgate Brewery next month

Did you know last Year Thornbridge sold 9 million pints, this was one of many facts Phil [below] gave us on the night.

Oh and not forgetting their flagship Ale Jaipur sold 4 million of the 9 million pints! Photo below shows the pump clip proudly on display in the back bar.
