It's sadly no longer possible to view Lightning aeroplanes using the nearby now closed RAF base. Consequent falling trade meant the loss of one of the two pubs and so the Plough is the community focus. Charming interior with two bay-windowed snugs at front divided by a small seating space. Bar at rear looks onto a dining area and a pool/darts room. Seated and tabled smoking area and high level garden at back. Reopened December 2025.
