See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The only pub in the village centre and just down the road from the railway station, where the two-hourly Cleethorpes-Barton service calls giving ample time to sample the four ales on offer. Reopened following major refurbishment in July 2015 to a high standard creating more room in the main area. Down the whole of one wall there is the biggest ever OS map of the surrounding district! The public bar has undergone similar treatment and has a games area. An extensive food menu is available throughout. At the rear, there is a covered patio overlooking the very large garden but be aware that smoking isn't permitted on the patio as meals may be taken. Smokers may use the separate covered area to the side of the pub. The garden is well provided with tables and there are fun things to do for the kids. Cask Marque quality accredited. Please check their website and social media for updates.
